Slider solenoid control unit

The slider solenoid control unit, as the name implies, energises or de-energises the slider solenoids according to commands received from the registration preset memory so that the desired registration becomes active. There are two main requirements for slider solenoid control:

• The control must be as quick as possible.
• The control must be as quiet as possible.

As contradictory as the above requirements may seem, the microcontroller-based slider solenoid controller developed by OrgEL Oy is both quick and, thanks to its implementation of soft end-positioning, very quiet.
